Description
Surron Axles are now made from heat treated & precision ground 4340 steel.
Made with 4340 steel and vacuum hardened for increased strength; It won't bend, break, or snap - even under extreme conditions. Backed by a lifetime warranty, this bolt is designed to offer maximum performance and durability every time.
Note* All 4340 Shafts are precision centerless ground after heat treat, due to Black Zinc Plating altering material properties, we left these shafts Raw silver finish to maximize strength and increase shaft to bearing tolerances over any aftermarket Bolt on the market!
- Turned from 4340 Steel.
- Heat treated by vacuum hardening for maximum durability, hardness, and strength.
- Precision ground diameter to bearing manuf. recommended tolerance.
- M12 flange style nut included (Black Titanium Fuji Nut optional)
- 10mm hex on shaft.
(Heat Treatment increases baseline mechanical properties, including strength. Cryogenic treatment does not make material stronger but enhances properties like stability and resistance to wear which is not needed in stationary fasteners.)
