Throttlecross

Season 1 starts October 2

Throttlecross

Five riders. Twelve rounds. One champion. A new competition every Friday, and at the end of the season somebody has to wear the number one.

What it is

The short version, in case you only read one paragraph.

Every Friday we film a competition and publish it. That video is a round. Somebody wins, points get handed out, and they go on the board.

Twelve rounds make a season. A season is one quarter of the year, so there are four a year. Season 1 runs October 2 through December 18, 2026.

Points carry across the whole season. Every round counts. The rider with the most at the end is the champion, and he wears the number one plate for the next three months while everybody else has to look at it.

The riders

Career numbers are permanent. They never change between seasons.

Riders get added to the roster when they are here and racing, not before.

How a season works

Two rules, and they are the whole thing.

Every round counts

All twelve go on the board. No throwaways, no mulligans. A bad Friday follows you to December.

Miss a round, score zero

Showing up is part of the competition. Life happens, and when it does you take the zero like everybody else.

The finale is double points

Round 12 is worth twice as much, so the title stays live until the last one.

The standings also decide what happens on camera. Teams get seeded so the leader gets the weakest partner. On a handicap round the leader takes the worst machine. When there is a pick, last place picks first. Being in front is supposed to be uncomfortable.

Full scoring drops before round 1

Different rounds are different kinds of games, so points work differently depending on what we are doing that week. The complete breakdown goes up here before October 2.

The jerseys are the scoreboard

You should not need a table to know who is winning. Look at what they are wearing.

The red jersey

Worn by whoever leads the championship right now. It changes hands the moment the standings do.

The number one

Worn all season by last season's champion. Nobody has earned one yet.

Red number one

The defending champion who is also currently leading. Nobody has ever worn it.

Season 1 schedule

Twelve Fridays. New round every week at 5pm MT.

Season 1 has not started. First points go on the board Friday, October 2.

What the champion gets

  • The red number one jersey, worn all of next season
  • A trophy
  • He calls the giveaway winner on camera
  • A signature item in the next merch collection

And the other four have to watch him wear it for three months.

The merch

Every season gets its own collection, and the numbers match. Collection 01 belongs to Season 1 and drops October 1, the day before round one.

Each collection is only buyable while its season is running. When the season closes, those designs retire for good. No reprints, no restocks. See the merch →
